Darwen Aldridge Sudell Primary is a warm, ambitious and inclusive school for children aged 4–11, proudly serving around 170 learners and deeply rooted in its community since 1909. For more than a century, Sudell has played a vital role in shaping local lives - and today it continues that tradition by providing a nurturing environment where every child is known, supported and encouraged to thrive.
The school’s vision centres on strong partnerships between children, staff and families, ensuring every learner grows into a happy, resilient and confident young person. The last few years have seen significant improvement across the school, with outcomes in Key Stages 1 and 2 now in line with national standards.
