Our goal is to transform the life-chances of our students and learners. From primary school to adult education, we have a strong focus on our students acquiring both the qualifications and the skills which prepare them for the opportunities that lie ahead.

Our Local Governing Committees play a key role in achieving this, providing the essential link between the needs of our local communities and our school leaders.

We are seeking to appoint Chairs of Governors for two schools and succession planning for our adult learning provision, all based in Brighton and Hove.

Clerk to the Governors

In Brighton we are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Clerk to Governors to provide procedural, legislative and constitutional advice and guidance on all governance related matters to our Local Governing Committees for Portslade Aldridge Community Academy, Brighton Aldridge Community Academy and Aldridge Adult Learning.

There will be 18 planned LGC meetings per academic year plus additional meetings e.g. exclusions and/or appeals, as necessary.
